Michelle has always wanted to be a country music singer and perform in her very own concert. She even came up with her concert title, "Famous in a Small Town," and her set. We found the perfect band, Amber Fults and the Ambivalent Lovers and then it was time for a photo shoot, media appearances, shopping, etc. Michelle arrived at the Concert Hall in a limo, ready for a final rehearsal, hair, and make-up. The doors opened at 6:30 and it was standing room only! It was amazing to watch her. The most amazing thing for us to see was to watch her truly transform throughout the wish experience. She said after her concert, "if I can do this, I can do anything," and she's right!

Michelle has always wanted to be a country music singer and perform in her very own concert.  She even came up with her concert title, "Famous in a Small Town," and her set list.  Well it was off to voice lessons to help get her beautiful voice ready and we had to find a band.  Well it is truly amazing how the community comes together.  We found the perfect band, Amber Fults and the Ambivalent Lovers and the practices began.  We made sure that Michelle experienced the life of a real Country music rock star so we took her shopping to buy her outfits for her photo shoot, media appearances and for her concert (she changed 3 times). She enjoyed her photo shoot at various beautiful places within and around her hometown, Chattanooga, TN and enjoyed going onto the radio and TV to talk about her concert.  On Michelle's big day, she was picked up at her house, of course, by limo to take her to the Concert Hall.  Her dressing room was in the tradition Country Music Rock Star style, lots of lights, cards, flowers, and some special gifts from some other country music singers.  She then had her final rehearsal with the band and then it was time for hair and make-up.  The doors to the Concert Hall opened at 6:30 and it was standing room only! People were everywhere, over 500 were in attendance and our wonderful United Healthcare (Michelle's Wish Sponsor) employees were seating our guests.  Michelle's concert was truly amazing.  She had so much energy and she memorized her audience.  The most amazing thing for us to see was to watch her truly transform throughout the wish experience. She said after her concert, "if I can do this, I can do anything," and she's right!
